TOOTHBRUSH HYGIENE TIPS AND TRICKS
-
Rinse it.
Rinse toothbrush prior and post use.
-
REPLACE IT.
Replace toothbrush every 3-4 months or when the bristles are no longer in shape. It should also be replaced after you are sick as it can harbour bacteria.
-
STORE IT.
Store it away from moisture and from your toilet. Also, avoid storing your toothbrush in tight areas to prevent growth of bacteria.
-
SHARE IT.
Just kidding. Do not share your toothbrush.
-
AVOID IT.
Avoid storing your toothbrush upside down.
-
AND... don't cover it.
Bacteria thrive in moist environments and a toothbrush cover provides just that. While it may keep other things out, it also locks everything else in.
